6 ways for healthy hair

Weakness, crumbling and hair loss can have many causes, such as genetic predisposition, autoimmune diseases or hormonal disorders. The condition of your hair is also affected by your lifestyle, diet, care and styling, so you often decide about how they will look. Learn some simple ways that will allow you to keep your hair in good shape.

1. Choose the right products

Regardless of whether it is a shampoo, conditioner or styling products, try to use those that have the least harmful chemicals (artificial "enhancers"). Buy high-quality products and remember, the shorter the list of ingredients, the better for your hair.

2. Wash

Keeping the scalp in good condition is the basis for proper care and good condition of the hair. However, it should be remembered that incompetent washing of the hair can have a very bad effect on it. Hot water can dry the scalp and hair, which can damage their structure, weaken them and, in the worst case, even fall out. Therefore, it is best to wash your hair and scalp pleasantly with warm water, which is much softer for them. When you wash your head, remember to do a gentle massage at the same time, it will improve circulation, thanks to which the hair roots will be better nourished and oxygenated. If your hair is dry, try to use special conditioners after each washing, which will gently moisturize your hair and give it elasticity. When the hair is washed, do not rub your head with a towel, it damages the hair structure and irritates the scalp, so try to dry it by gently applying a towel that will absorb excess water.

3. Be gentle

Don't be too aggressive when combing your hair, especially when it's still wet. Any strong pull can damage and pull even healthy hair. Therefore, if you have a problem with combing, get yourself special mists or conditioners that will definitely help you.

If your hair is dry and the ends split, limit the use of hair dryers, curlers and straighteners, it will also dry your hair and make it worse. However, if the use of any of these devices is necessary, try to set them to the lowest possible heating temperature and keep as far away from the scalp as possible.

Before starting styling, use specialized products that protect your skin against extreme temperatures. Remember also that the condition of hair is affected by dyeing, so try to choose delicate products based on natural ingredients and remember that the less drastic the color change, the better for your hair (especially when it comes to bleaching).

4. Reduce stress

High stress levels can contribute to many health problems - and can also be a direct cause of hair loss. Stress hurts your hair no matter what it is caused by, it can be both very serious matters and small things that upset us every day.

Here are some things that can help reduce stress:

Exercise: up to 20 minutes of ordinary walking can help reduce stress.

Speak out: it's good to share your problems with someone close and trusted. In this way, "throw it out of yourself", and maybe together you can find a solution.

Relax: Try to find time for yourself every day, listen to your favorite music, read a book, watch a movie or just be silent while enjoying the wonderful silence.

5. Nourish your hair

If your hair is weak and it is not caused by stress or accompanying diseases, you may just need nutrition. Preparations containing biotin (shampoos, conditioners, masks and serums) give very good results, it can effectively support regeneration, growth and reduce hair loss.

Remember, however, that nothing happens right away so that such treatment should be effective, it should last about 3-4 months.

6. Take care of the right diet

A properly balanced diet can improve the condition of your hair. It is also worth knowing that our body likes it best when the nutrients it provides come from natural products.

Therefore, before we take advantage of the wide range of vitamin supplements, let's try to compose a diet so that our daily menu includes everything it needs. This way you can supply everything that your hair needs.

Remember that even such important biotin for them you will find in natural foods such as cauliflower, wheat grains, soybeans, bananas, sardines, nuts, beans and eggs. These are products that, in addition to biotin, also provide you with vitamins and minerals necessary for proper hair growth, including zinc, manganese, copper, as well as vitamins A, C and B vitamins.

Hair also needs the right amount of protein that you provide them if in your diet you'll find eggs, fish, nuts, seeds, beans and lean meat such as turkey and chicken.

Also remember to constantly replenish iron defects, if it is not enough, the hair will begin to fall out very quickly. Large amounts of well-absorbed iron can be found in oysters, mussels and octopus, but if you do not like seafood, try not to include buckwheat, beetroot, nuts, seeds, cocoa and green leafy vegetables in your diet.

Take care of the skin after the sun

Most of us like summer very much, we like it when we are pampered by the warm summer wind and we are happy to expose our mouths to the sun, but when the summer ends the balance of what has left on our skin, we are not so happy. Unfortunately the sun, sand and water (often salty or chlorinated), and even this pleasant summer breeze make our skin dry and irritated. Therefore, when summer ends, it is necessary to ensure its regeneration.

In the summer, more than during other seasons, our skin is exposed to UV radiation, it is not favored by wind, salt and chlorinated water, and frequent stay in air-conditioned rooms. All these factors destroy its natural hydrolipid barrier, which means that water evaporates much faster from it. The skin becomes dry, it pulls us unpleasantly, burns, breaks and begins to peel. It is now visible on the small wrinkles that we have not noticed before, and those that have been with us for some time become deeper and clearer. However, this is not the end of unwanted souvenirs after holidays are also discoloration and dilated capillaries.

Why is this happening?

Healthy, properly moisturized skin is soft and elastic, which is determined, among others, by the water content in the outer layer of the epidermis and the proper functioning of the lipid barrier, which protects against its loss.

If our skin is properly hydrated, about 10-13% of the water in the stratum corneum is found in the skin, then all processes take place properly. Unfortunately, however, the action of some external factors leads to a significant loss of water, disrupts the processes of epidermis renewal and the functioning of fibroblasts - the cells responsible for the production of elastin and collagen. This is why our skin becomes dry, dull, loses its firmness and begins to wrinkle.

The problem is also clearly weakened and non-elastic capillaries, which expand, making the so-called skin visible on our skin. spider veins. Dry skin also loses immunity, without protection it is much more exposed to infections, irritation and allergies.

Here are some tips that will definitely help you take care of your skin after the summer

1. You should opt out of this

Let's start with what you shouldn't do. First of all, you should opt out of cosmetics that contain skin irritants. Under no circumstances should you use soap for washing, and give up cosmetics containing dyes, fragrances, alcohol and surface-active substances (SLS) that dry delicate skin.

Remember also that the condition of your skin is worsened by baths and showers in hot water, thus damaging its protective layer, which causes the water to evaporate faster and, as a result, becomes dry and irritated.

Try to use cosmetics as natural as possible, designed for delicate, dry skin that will ensure its proper hydration and help rebuild the damaged protective layer.

2. We exfoliate dead skin

We really should start with this, we must thoroughly clean our skin and get rid of not only dead skin, but also the remains of sebum, dust and dirt.

Exfoliation will also help our fight against discoloration, which, as I wrote earlier, is also very often a souvenir after the summer.

Remember to choose the scrub according to the type and condition of your skin. If it is very dry, delicate and irritated, use an enzyme peeling, which instead of abrasive particles contains natural plant enzymes or a complex of enzymatic proteins from yeast cell walls, which instead of rubbing dissolve and remove impurities from our skin.

People who have oily skin prone to acne and blackheads can use a mechanical (granular) peeling. In the case of oily, combination and normal skin, peel off peeling, a gel-like cosmetic that we spread on the skin and leave to dry, and then remove it, works very well. The peeling will cleanse the skin, unblock pores, stimulate regenerative processes, regulate sebaceous glands, help fight sun spots and prepare it for the intake of moisturizing and nourishing substances.

Remember, however, that in order for the peeling to fulfill its function well, it should be performed systematically, but not more often than 1-2 times a week for dry and normal skin and 2-3 a week for oily skin. Too frequent use of peels will not only not improve the condition of your skin, but may significantly worsen it, causing irritation and damage.

You can also prepare the peeling yourself at home, granular e.g. from honey and sugar, or finely ground avocado seed, or enzymatic from mixed pineapple or papaya with the addition of honey.

3. We fill in the deficiencies

After summer, our skin needs moisturizing the most, it is dry and irritated, which is why we need to make sure that we fill in the resulting water shortages, rebuild the damaged protective layer, stimulate regenerative processes and nourish it properly.

Set aside summer creams and balms with light consistency and replace them with slightly denser cosmetics.

Equip yourself with intensely moisturizing masks and serums that will provide your skin with a decent dose of antioxidants, thanks to which you will reduce the effects of free radicals. Choose creams that contain water-binding hyaluronic acid or urea and vegetable oils e.g. almond, avocado, jojoba or evening primrose, ceramides, cholesterol, essential fatty acids and vitamins to prevent evaporation, e.g. vitamin E, which prevents photoaging of the skin, brightening, improving blood vessels vitamin C and soothing irritations vitamin B5.

In the care of skin dried after the summer, face masks work very well, which you can easily make yourself at home. A reliable and very simple cosmetic is an avocado, honey and yogurt mask. Just peel the ripe avocado fruit, extract the stone from it (remember not to throw it away, it's a very rich source of antioxidants, dry it in the sun, grate it and use it as an addition to sandwiches and salads), crush with a fork and combine with honey (2 tablespoons) and thick yogurt (2 tablespoons).

The oatmeal mask also has a good soothing and moisturizing effect - 4 tablespoons of oatmeal pour a small amount of milk and cook until a thick paste forms, when it cools down, add honey (2 tablespoons) and mix thoroughly.

Remember that care must always be supported by a properly balanced diet and proper hydration of the body, only then you will take care of your body comprehensively and clearly improve the condition of your skin.

Do not forget about sunscreen, just because summer is over does not mean that the sun's rays have stopped reaching our skin. Therefore, try to remember to properly protect your whole year.

Spider veins How to prevent them and what to do if there have already appear?

Teleangiectasias more commonly known as spiders arise under the influence of various external and internal stimuli. Correctly working capillaries contract and expand. Sometimes, however, this mechanism is disturbed, then they are permanently expanded and become visible.

This condition is much more common in women. Spiders can appear anywhere, but the legs and face are the most-liked.

Today, however, we will focus on the face. I will tell you a bit about why the capillaries burst, how we can prevent it and whether the cosmetics will help to eliminate them.

Spiders as a result of passing time ...

With age, the skin becomes thinner and the capillaries weaker and less flexible, the mechanism of their action is no longer as efficient as in young people. Thus, permanently extended become more visible.

Genetic predisposition

Very often we get spider veins after our loved ones, so if your moms or grandmothers had delicate capillary skin, this problem will probably also affect you.

Or maybe it's hormones?

Hormonal disorders also contribute to the formation of spider veins, e.g. during adolescence, pregnancy, delivery or menopause. Hormonal contraception may also have a similar effect.

Diet also matters

If you have delicate skin and a tendency to form spiders, give up alcohol, caffeine and spicy foods. Under their influence, the blood vessels expand, which may cause an exacerbation of symptoms. The diet should contain products rich in vitamin C, which will seal blood vessels. You will find it, among others, in blackcurrant, citrus fruits, strawberries, spinach tomatoes and brussels sprouts. Vitamin B6, which strengthens the immune system and stimulates cell production, is also important, it is found in milk, eggs, brown rice, hazelnuts and walnuts. Blood vessels perfectly strengthen and seal vitamin K, its natural source is avocado, cabbage, broccoli and lettuce. The diet supporting the capillary skin should also contain products containing selenium, which will help regenerate the capillaries, zinc that will eliminate inflammation, copper and vitamin E, which, by strengthening, will eliminate further damage.

Quit smoking

Nicotine weakens the walls of blood vessels and accelerates the effects, making the spider veins more visible. Remember that you are also exposed as passive smokers to the harmful effects of nicotine.

Harmful radiation

For capillary skin is harmful both solar radiation and that that we meet in solariums. That is why it is best to give up artificial tanning.

It is also very important to use sunscreen creams with a minimum of 15 SPF, and in the case of greater sun exposure a minimum of 30 SPF. Remember, over 80% of UV radiation penetrates the clouds, which is why the skin should also be protected on a cloudy day.

It is bad either way

Capillary skin really doesn't like wind and rapid temperature changes. Cold should therefore be protected by using specially designed fat creams. Also remember that after returning from a winter walk, do not immediately enter a very warm room, the skin should get used to the temperature change. Also give up the sauna, hot baths, too hot drinks and meals, they cause excessive expansion of the vessels, which may result in the appearance of spider veins.

Difficult art of care

A very important element of care is make-up removal. The remains of colored cosmetics left overnight irritate the skin. It is best to use micellar fluids for purification. Give up soap and skin cleansing with tap water, thermal water is the best choice. If the peeling is an enzymatic one that will gently remove dead skin, accelerate regeneration, cleanse the pores, improve the color and sensitize the skin to the effects of nutritional cosmetics. During the day, it is best to use protective creams and at night choose those that will support regeneration, soothe irritations and strengthen capillaries.

Cream cream is not equal

Choose cosmetics that do not contain fragrances, fruit acids, alcohol or abrasive particles. A very important component of creams is vitamin C, which strengthens the walls of blood vessels, constricts and seals capillaries, vitamin K, sealing vessels and anti-inflammatory vitamin PP. It is good if the cosmetics also contain the strengthening effect of vitamin C and reducing the permeability of blood vessels routine. Allantoin or panthenol will have a soothing effect. Aloe vera extract will also work great, which will improve microcirculation, strengthen capillaries and moisturize the skin. Ginkgo biloba extract making the blood vessels walls more elastic, reducing redness of the mountain arnica extract or well-known chestnut extract anti-inflammatory, anti-swelling and reducing the fragility of the vessels is also very good. The cosmetics may also contain vegetable oils, e.g. evening primrose or rose, they have anti-inflammatory and astringent effects on blood vessels.

And if the capillaries are already visible?

Unfortunately, even the best cosmetics will not remove existing spiders. To get rid of them, I suggest at my REVIVE CLINIC Forever Young BBL phoyotherapy, which eliminates dilated capillaries from the upper layers of the skin. During the treatment, the energy released from the light changes into heat, which destroys the vessels. Laser therapy visibly restores the skin's natural color and eliminates spider veins.

So head up, we can do it together!

6 summer care mistakes

In summer, we should care for our body slightly differently than during other seasons. High temperatures, warm wind, a large amount of sun requires us to change care habits. We must remember about proper hydration, not only from the inside, but also from the outside. Our skin and hair now need intensive hydration, nutrition and, what is very important, protection against UV radiation. We know more and more about how to care for our body by adapting eating habits and care to the changing weather conditions during subsequent seasons. Despite this, however, we often make mistakes that, although on a daily basis are imperceptible to us, as a result they can have a negative effect on the condition of our skin and hair.

Here are 6 of the most common mistakes made during the summer

1. A sunblock after leaving home

We often hydrate our body with creams, oils and protective emulsions when we are "in the sun". However, it is worth knowing that for proper protection we should do it earlier. Preferably 20-30 minutes before leaving the house. This is the time that a sunblock needs to start protecting our skin. Remember also that we are exposed to the harmful effects of the sun's rays not only on the beach and not only when the blue cloudless sky stretches over our heads. Sun rays reach us also through the clouds, and even the windshield of a car or bus does not protect us from harmful radiation. Remember that we are also exposed to photoaging on the way to work, school or a dream vacation. Also, don't forget that no cream provides protection for the whole day. So it is very important to apply it again after about 3 hours and every time after bathing, even if the one you use is waterproof.

2. Incomplete protection

This is a very common mistake. Protecting ourselves from the sun, unfortunately, we forget that the same protection as the back, shoulders, cheeks, forehead or nose, also need our ears, lips, skin under the knees and feet. Unfortunately, these are places that we often overlook, exposing them to dangerous burns, accelerating the aging process and increasing the risk of skin cancer. Therefore, using creams, emulsions, oils and protective balms, remember to apply them to our entire body, so that each part of it provides full protection against UV rays. Also, don't forget about protective lipstick. During sunbathing, and even ordinary walking, they are particularly exposed to the harmful effects of sunlight. They do not have melanin that provides natural protection for the skin against the sun, which is why they feel the negative effects of its action faster than the rest of our body. A special lipstick with a filter will not be replaced by lipstick or lip gloss, shimmering colored cosmetics will not only not protect your lips, but also increase the risk of burns, attracting sun rays to each other.

3. Scratching, scratching, friction

In summer, we are exposed not only to sunlight, dry skin and, as a result, premature aging, but also to insect bites. The most bothering us are mosquitoes, which can really really get us under the skin. The places after biting swell, sting, sometimes even hurt. Most often, however, they terribly itch, often spending us sleepless nights. Unfortunately, when we start scratching, rubbing or even gently massaging them, the problem gets worse and the itching becomes unbearable. However, this is not the end, scrambled, irritated skin is exposed to various types of infections and unsightly scars. As a result, a harmless bite can be the beginning of more serious problems. So let's stock up on special preparations to soothe bites. A cold compress can also be effective, you can use ice cubes or chilled aloe vera gel, which will not only alleviate unpleasant symptoms, but also accelerate the healing of irritated skin.

4. Too intensive makeup

Strong summer make-up, instead of decorating, can disfigure, high temperatures make it begin to weigh, "run down" and really do not look aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately, this is not just about the appearance, such makeup on warm days also harms our skin (clogs pores, irritates, promotes the formation of acne, blackheads and excessive sebum production) and irritates the eyes. So the face looks tired, neglected and - what is worse - is aging faster. Therefore, in the summer it is good to give up intensive makeup. Instead of using heavy powders, try to use delicate foundations. If your skin glows, think about choosing the right make-up base that will not only absorb excess sebum, but also make colored cosmetics stay on your skin longer. For ladies who have smooth skin, the perfect solution for the summer are BB or CC creams that adhere to the skin, leaving it fresh and smooth for a long time. When it's hot, also forget about strong eye makeup, shadows or lines are not the best idea right now. Just gently emphasize your eyelashes with waterproof mascara, thanks to which your eyes will not be irritated and red, and your face will gain a healthy and fresh look. Remember also that makeup will not replace you with sun protection, so before leaving the house, do not forget about sunscreen cream.

5. Hair removal before going to the beach

Epilation, even at home, irritates the skin, exposing it to infections and discoloration. Sweat, sand and sun rays are definitely not conducive to healing the skin, which was depilated before going to the beach. You must remember that each time she needs time to regenerate. Therefore, if you are going on vacation, remember to prepare for it in advance. After epilation, it is better to wait a few days before we go to the beach or go to the solarium. Unfavorable for depilated skin is also intensive effort, use of gym and sauna, sweat does not promote healing of irritated skin. If you follow these rules, you will avoid irritation, inflammation, and unsightly discoloration. Instead of sunbathing, provide your skin with proper care at this time. It is very important to use creams and lotions that will soften your skin and alleviate the irritation resulting from depilation, e.g. containing D-panthenol, allantoin, chamomile or aloe.

6. Wet hair and sun

In the summer, we often go outside with a wet head, after swimming in the pool or sea, we allow our hair to dry in the sun naturally, not realizing how much we harm them in this way. Wet hair is deprived of a protective lipid coat, under the influence of heat their scales also open and they become more susceptible to external factors. UV rays penetrate their interior without any problem, damage the keratin fibers, making the hair become dry, dull, thin, begin to crumble and fall out. The situation is made worse by water, its drops act as lenses that focus the sun's rays. That is why wet hair is exposed to more harmful UV rays than dry hair.

Remember that sometimes even a seemingly small care mistake can have a very bad effect on your skin and hair, and if in the summer they become excessively weak, then it will be harder for them to get back to shape before the holidays. Don't forget about it also during your vacation :).

Prepare your hair to meet the sun

In spring and summer, when our hair is exposed to frequent contact not only with the sun, but also with the wind, salt and chlorinated water are quickly destroyed. They become dry, dull, crumble easily and, worse, start to fall out. Read about how to protect your hair in the spring and summer.

Most of us already know very well how to protect the skin against the effects of sunlight and although on cloudy days some people still forget about it, when we go to meet the sun, we try to remember creams with UV filters. We hydrate the body exposed to the sun, unfortunately, forgetting about the scalp, which, despite being covered with hair, just like the rest of our body needs protection.

More often and more delicately

On warm sunny days, when our scalp sweats a lot, we wash our hair more often, so it's important to pay attention to what shampoos we use. They should not only be very delicate, but also perfectly remove sweat, salt, chlorine and all other impurities from our hair and scalp. In stores and pharmacies you can easily find shampoos for everyday washing and those that were created specifically to protect your hair from the sun. They contain UV filters and reduce the risk of damage not only to the hair, but also to the scalp. Remember also that the shampoo you choose also has moisturizing properties, this will allow you to avoid overdrying and irritation of the scalp (which also has a great impact on the condition of the hair) and damage to the protective barrier and hair structure. Dry hair is more exposed, among others, to rapid water loss and the effects of harmful substances and impurities penetrating into it.

Without conditioner, don't move

And it is best to use for the summer without rinsing, it will not only nourish and moisturize hair weakened by the sun, wind, chlorine and salt, but also provide them with effective UV protection, remaining on them for a long time.

Mask SOS

1-2 times a week, be sure to find time to make a mask that will make your hair really neat, nourished and moisturized, and the nutrients you provide will help them regenerate faster and help protect against the sun.

The popular yolk, honey (2 tbsp) and olive oil (two tsp) masks will work very well, thanks to which your hair will be well moisturized and nourished. Strawberry and avocado mask will also help damaged, dehydrated hair. Just mix a few strawberries and ripe avocados to create a fantastic cosmetic that will quickly improve the condition of your hair. Aloe and coconut oil mask will also help dry and brittle hair. Thanks to them, the hair will be perfectly moisturized, you will also deal with scalp irritation caused by excessive exposure to the sun and provide them with natural protection against harmful UV radiation.

Take a spray or mist to the beach

If you intend to spend a few hours in the sun, be sure to buy a spray or mist with a UV filter. Remember that a conditioner or even a mask will not protect you for the whole day. Therefore, if you know that your hair will be exposed to sunlight for a long time, have light protective cosmetics with you and use them approximately every 3 hours.

Water attracts the sun

Remember not to dry your hair in the sun, if you came out of the pool or swimming in the sea, gently dry them with a towel and best hide in the shade. Water attracts sun rays and, to make matters worse, deprives the hair of the protective hydrolipid layer, exposing it to intense and direct UV rays.

Moisturize and wash off

Before entering the sea or swimming pool, it is good to wet your hair. Soaked in tap or mineral water will have a very limited ability to further absorb it, and thus salt and chlorine will not penetrate it as easily. After the bath, rinse your hair and spray with a protective spray or mist. After returning home, wash with a delicate moisturizing shampoo and apply a regenerative conditioner.

Dyed worse

If you want to change your hair color, don't forget to do it just before you go on holiday. It is best to do it 2-3 weeks earlier and take care of proper nutrition, regeneration and hydration. Then, for sure, your hair will be less exposed to sunlight. Also remember to use the least harmful preparations to dye your hair so as not to damage the hair structure.

We cut the tips

In summer, be sure to take care of the hair tips, use natural oils for this purpose (castor, raspberry seed, linseed, coconut), and before going on holiday visit a hairdresser and cut them. Healthy, untreated tips will be less susceptible to the sun's harmful effects.

Ponies, buns, braids

If you are going to spend a few hours outdoors on a sunny warm day, it is better to give up hair dissolving. It is good to tie them, even in some fancy hairpin, the point is that the smallest surface of the hair is exposed to UV rays.

Caps and hats

On sunny days, we should not leave the house without a cap or hat, even if we used hair cosmetics with UV filters before. They should be made of natural fabrics so that the scalp and hair can "breathe" freely and necessarily in bright colors, so that they reflect the sun's rays. Caps and hats are also great protection for the scalp, which, like the rest of our body is exposed to the harmful effects of UV radiation. Remember that a very dangerous skin cancer - melanoma, can also occur on the scalp.

Natural protection

In addition to ready-made cosmetics available in stores, protecting the scalp and hair from the harmful effects of the sun, we can also use completely natural oils, e.g. raspberry seed oil is not only effective protection against UV radiation, but also a great way to improve the condition of our hair and scalp. Raspberry seed oil will perfectly nourish them, protect against free radicals and help maintain an adequate level of hydration.

Wheat seed oil - gives our hair smoothness, accelerates regeneration processes, moisturizes and helps protect against UV rays

Carrot seed oil - perfectly protects our hair and scalp, soothes irritations, eliminates free radicals and works well for damaged and dehydrated hair.

If you are going for a spring or summer rest and plan to spend most of your time outdoors enjoying the charms of sunny days, remember to take care of your hair and scalp a few weeks before leaving. Apply intensive nourishing and moisturizing treatment, it will certainly reduce the risk of damage by sunlight.

Sensual and alluring

Sensual, seductive, alluring, beautiful and kissable ... Lips, because we talk about them, seduce, tempt, help us communicate and express emotions. If they are neat, they can delight with their charm and make our face look much younger. Unfortunately, our lips as well as the rest of our body are exposed to harmful external factors and aging processes that occur throughout our body and unfortunately leave their mark on them. Today on our blog about what to do to restore their beautiful and young appearance.

The lips can delight with their appearance. Firm, red female lips can easily seduce many a man. They give a woman a special charm and extraordinary mystery, becoming one of her most important attributes. Unfortunately, as we often forget, lips are also extremely delicate, which is why very quickly the effects of the passing time and the effects of harmful external factors are visible.

Completely defenseless

The skin of our lips is almost as unique as they are :). First of all, it is extremely thin, does not have a stratum corneum and is almost completely free of sebaceous glands, which form a lipid layer protecting against moisture loss and irritation. However, this is not the end of the skin of our lips also does not have melanin, a dye that naturally protects the rest of our body from the sun. This is why the lips are extremely sensitive, they dry out very quickly, crack, and the passing time makes them lose their shape (their volume decreases), firmness and elasticity. Their color also changes, with age they become brighter and less and less delimited from the rest of the skin. Wrinkles begin to appear around them, and their corners fall down, giving our face a sad expression.

You have to care for them

Unprotected lips require special treatment from us, which is why their daily careful care should be our responsibility, if, of course, we want to enjoy their beautiful appearance.

Remember that lips react very quickly to temperature changes, they are also adversely affected by dry air, wind and UV radiation. That is why constant moisturizing and sun protection is very important. Read about how to help chapped lips.

When care is not enough

Unfortunately, even on the most well-groomed lips, you can finally see signs left by the passage of time. Then the best cosmetics and proven home care methods will not cope and will not reverse the effects of aging on our body. Do not worry, however, in such a situation, aesthetic medicine comes to our aid, thanks to which we can effectively restore the lips to their beautiful and alluring appearance.

A way to rejuvenate

The best way to restore lips to their youthful appearance is by using hyaluronic acid. That's why I usually recommend it to patients who report to my REVIVE CLINIC ™, wanting to improve the appearance of their lips.

Called very often the "elixir of youth", hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in our body in quite large quantities, but it is most common in our skin.

Thanks to hyaluronic acid skin is moisturized, smooth and firm. Unfortunately, with age, its amount in our body decreases and after 40 birthdays we can have it up to half as much as a person 20 years younger than us.

His decreasing are also easy to notice on our lips. Therefore, a great solution is a safe and effective treatment based on injecting lips with hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid injected by the specialist, swelling water swells and highlights the lips, giving them a beautiful shape. In turn, thanks to its moisturizing properties, acting from the inside it makes them firm and elastic. It is very important to gently massage the lumps under your fingers after the procedure, thanks to which the hyaluronic acid will be evenly distributed and the lips will be naturally beautiful. Such a gentle massage must also be performed at home, strictly following the specialist's instructions.

By modeling lips with hyaluronic acid, we can also lift their corners and restore our face with a cheerful radiant look. To this end, the specialist also injects hyaluronic acid over the corners of the mouth, causing them to "hang" on the subcutaneous ball formed from it.

Lips in good hands

Filling lips with hyaluronic acid is one of the more known and commonly used treatments. Remember, however, that how your lips will look depends primarily on the specialist who will perform it.

A good specialist is also an artist, he has an extraordinary imagination and an extraordinary sense of aesthetics. Therefore, if you want to be sure that your lips will decorate your face after the procedure, when choosing to do it, choose the clinics where experienced specialist works. If you want to change or improve the appearance of your lips, I encourage you to consult at REVIVE CLINIC ™, where outstanding specialists will take care of you, who will not only provide you with their advice and perfectly prepare you for the procedure, but also carry it out in such a way that the final effect surprised with its naturalness.
