How to get out wrinkles and save face sugging

Always I try to make my patients look beautiful and natural after any cosmetic treatment.

Today I will tell you about how to get rid of wrinkles, while maintaining the natural facial features.

Wrinkles are the most characteristic and fastest visible sign that time leaves on our face, which is why proper skin care is so important even before they appear on it.

Adapting it to the age and type of skin, and providing our body with all the nutrients it needs so that regeneration processes can occur properly are the key to success.

Sooner or later wrinkles will appear on our face, the skin will start to fall, it will become thin, flabby, dry and prone to irritation, and unfortunately, with age, these changes will become deeper and more visible.

Time in the hands of aesthetic medicine

When care alone is not enough, we are focusing on aesthetic medicine treatments, which copes well with the signs of passing time and can really rejuvenate our face. However, regardless of whether we decide to fill in small or deep wrinkles, raise the cheeks or firm the lips, it is important to choose a treatment that will restore the youthful appearance of our face without freezing it in an unnatural grimace.

Hyaluronic acid will naturally fill in wrinkles

As you already know, hyaluronic acid in large quantities naturally occurs in our skin, it ensures that it is properly moisturized, smooth and elastic, and when it begins to decrease with the passage of time, wrinkles appear on our face.

Therefore, the best way to get a young look and smooth skin are just treatments using hyaluronic acid, which will not only fill wrinkles, but also improve the hydration of our skin, reduce the action of free radicals and accelerate regenerative processes.

However, for this procedure to bring the expected results, it is very important not only to make the right choice of the office and the specialist who will perform it, but also the preparation itself. Today, hyaluronic acid fillers are really a lot, and choosing the best one is not easy, but it is very important. Not only the effect we obtain but also its durability will depend on the preparation we choose.

At REVIVE CLINIC we use fillers which come in two concentrations, which allows you to adjust the intensity of the treatment to the individual needs of the patient. For people who want to subtly emphasize and moisturize their lips or fill in small wrinkles, firm the skin and give it a healthy radiant look, I recommend treatments using filler with 20mg / ml density. However, if we are dealing with deep wrinkles or the need to clearly shape the face, e.g. enhancing the cheekbones, eliminating the double chin or improving the appearance of the nose, we have intense filler with density of 25 mg / ml, which will cope well with these and other tasks.

It is also very important that fillers can be successfully combined with other treatments such as chemical peeling, Mezo-botox, i.e. a combination of mesotherapy aimed at revitalizing and rejuvenating the skin with botulinum toxin or mesotherapy alone.

Remember, however, that what concentration of the preparation and which treatment will be best for you should be decided by the specialist. Hyaluronic acid fillers are very safe and rarely cause allergic reactions, but this does not mean that there are no contraindications for such treatments.

Therefore, they should always be preceded by a thorough medical history, during which you should tell about your diseases and medications taken, do not be ashamed of anything, the most important is your safety.

Home ways for “butterflies”, or how to deal with flabby shoulders

Sagging shoulder skin, i.e. "butterflies" are, unfortunately, the effect of our body's aging. Over time, collagen and elastin decrease, the skin loses its firmness, density and elasticity. Our muscles also age, which is why their strength and mass decrease. With age, the content of water in our body also decreases and the skeleton decreases. All this makes the slack skin begin to fall, and unsightly "butterflies" form on the arms.

Today on my blog about how to slow down and alleviate aging processes at home, firm the skin of the arms and prevent the formation of unwanted "butterflies"

1. Try coconut water

Coconut water comes from young green coconuts, is a rich source of magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and calcium, we also find in it a large amount of B vitamins and vitamin C, which as a strong antioxidant reduces the effects of free radicals and keeps our skin in excellent condition.

Coconut water perfectly hydrates our body and quickly replenishes electrolyte deficiencies, protects us from dangerous dehydration. It also affects our skin very well, moisturizing and nourishing it from the inside. Coconut water is also a rich source of natural plant hormones, growth regulators belonging to cytokinins. It is primarily kinetin, which is also found in human DNA. It is responsible, among others, for cell division, thanks to which plant leaves are resistant to aging, and collagen and elastin producing fibroblasts come to life and become more active. Kinetin can repair damage caused to our skin by UV radiation, delays the effects of aging, smoothes the skin, makes it elastic and takes on a healthy, young look.

You can drink coconut water as an independent drink or add it to cocktails, thanks to which you will enrich their taste and nutritional value. Try to use it also as an addition to the bath or your favorite lotion.

2. Reliable peeling

A very important skin care treatment, also on the shoulders, is peeling. Thanks to it, you will not only get rid of impurities accumulating on it and dead epidermis, but also stimulate its cells to regenerate. Your skin will become more tense, gain firmness and softness. It will also improve circulation, and thus it will be more nourished and oxygenated. Remember, however, that to notice the effects, you should do this regularly 2-3 times a week. Try to prepare such a peeling yourself, choosing the ingredients so that your skin condition clearly improves.

A peeling made of sea salt and coconut oil will work very well here. Sea salt perfectly exfoliates the epidermis and improves blood circulation, leaving the skin smooth, taut and elastic.

Coconut oil, in turn, cares for its proper hydration, strengthens the protective barrier, soothes irritations and reduces free radicals. Coconut oil can also be replaced with macadamia oil, which perfectly tightens and firms flabby skin, helps fight cellulite, reduces the risk of stretch marks, nourishes and protects it, making it look young and healthy.

Peeling prepared from coffee beans also has excellent firming properties. Finely ground grains should be combined with the selected oil, e.g. olive oil, coconut oil, linseed oil or macadamia oil. Coffee quickly stimulates circulation, helps break down accumulated fat, cleanses the skin and mobilizes its cells to regenerate. Thanks to this, it becomes firm, smooth and pleasant to the touch. You can also add 1-2 teaspoons of cinnamon to this peeling, which will strengthen the firming effect of the cosmetic.

3. Remember about masks

The skin on the shoulders, just like the skin of your face, also needs intensive nutrition, so in addition to daily care with the use of moisturizing, moisturizing, firming and nourishing creams, 2-3 times a week you should devote a little more time and prepare a mask.

You can use figs rich in vitamins, minerals and fatty acids. Mix the pulp of 2-3 figs with two teaspoons of honey and a teaspoon of lemon, in this way you will create a cosmetic that will nourish, regenerate and smooth your skin, and thanks to the huge content of antioxidants will also help it deal with free radicals and delay the effects of aging.

Figs can also be replaced with melon, 2-3 slices should be blended first so as to form a mass, and then combined with honey and a little lemon juice. Melon perfectly nourishes, refreshes, moisturizes and supports skin renewal processes, and as a powerful antioxidant added to cosmetics, it also works well as a firming and delaying aging agent.

Leave such a mask on the skin for about 20 minutes, then wash off with water.

You can prepare a very simple and inexpensive skin tightening mask from chicken egg protein, just separate them to stiff foam and it's ready. The cosmetic so prepared should be applied to the shoulders, left for about 15 minutes and then rinsed with lwarm water.

4. Massage will improve the condition of the skin

Massage is a very important element of skin care, but to obtain satisfactory results it should be done several times a week. Thanks to it, circulation will improve, the skin will be oxygenated, nourished, it will also become more tense and elastic, and the cells stimulated in this way will allow its faster regeneration. For massage, you can use oils that will further enhance its effects. It can be, for example, linseed oil, which works great as a natural cosmetic that makes the skin elastic; almond, which strengthens and nourishes the flabby shoulder skin or the well-known coconut oil and olive oil.

Massage with the use of aloe vera gel, which not only takes care of proper hydration and nourishment of the skin, but also alleviates irritations, deals with discoloration, firms and smoothes, also brings very good results.

At REVIVE CLINIC we recommend ICOONE Laser lymphatic massage which firm and tight the skin.

Also other skin tightening treatment are recommended: Cryo T Shock and Zaffiro. Check reviveclinic.com for more information.

5. Always exercise

If you want your arms to look beautiful and young for many years, and unsightly "butterflies" are something that will be completely foreign to you, you need to make sure that in your everyday life there is time for exercises, especially those that strengthen the muscles of the hands .

It doesn't have to be hours spent in the gym right away, all you have to do is do a dozen push-ups or exercises with weights in your hands. You really need 15 minutes a day to notice the first results after a few weeks.

The fight against "butterflies" is not easy and requires a lot of perseverance and regularity. However, I am convinced that by following my advice, you will definitely improve the condition of your skin. However, you must remember that prophylaxis brings the best results, so it is good to take care of the skin of your shoulders before the passing time begins to leave its marks on it.

As an extremely strong antioxidant, punicic acid accelerates skin regeneration processes and clearly has anti-inflammatory effects improving her condition. However, this is not all, pomegranate also contains linoleic acid and large amounts of polyphenols. Berries are not only very tasty, but also very healthy fruit, they also have a wonderful effect on our beauty and this is probably why they are increasingly used in cosmetics. The berries have anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, which is why they are very helpful for various types of infections, including those affecting our skin.

Blueberries have strong antioxidant properties, which in turn allows them to eliminate the effects of free radicals and delay the effects of aging. They also care about the condition of our blood vessels, strengthening, sealing and making them elastic, great for people who are struggling with the problems of delicate skin capillaries. Kale will also provide us with large doses of vitamins A and C and carotenoids, which by fighting free radicals, take care of the young appearance of our skin, healthy color, firmness and proper hydration. However, it is worth knowing that kale among its numerous advantages also has disadvantages, the oxalates contained in it can cause kidney stones, arrhythmias or arthritis. That is why it is very important to be moderate and not eating excess kale, especially if our kidneys are not working properly.

4. Eggs

Eggs are a source of easily absorbed by our body protein and vitamins, among others A, E, D, K, B2, B9, B12. There is also a lack of minerals: calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium, selenium, phosphorus, potassium and iodine. We will also find in them large amounts of unsaturated fatty acids.

The wealth of nutrients hidden in the egg has a huge impact on our health and the appearance of the skin. By stimulating the immune system, eggs support our body in the fight against diseases also those that directly or indirectly affect the appearance of our skin and hair. In turn, by delaying the aging process, they keep our skin firm, smooth, properly moisturized and nourished, protect it from the harmful effects of UV rays, and strengthen our hair and improve the condition of nails.

Eggs are also a popular ingredient in homemade masks, both those improving skin and hair. Protein has astringent properties, acting as a cosmetic that tightens the skin, prevents it from slacking and reduces the visibility of fine wrinkles.

Protein also copes well with oily skin problems, helping to get rid of sebum accumulated on its surface. In turn, the yolk perfectly nourishes, tones, maintains proper hydration and accelerates skin renewal.

Used on hair, it regains a healthy shine, becomes strong, less susceptible to harmful external factors and pleasant to the touch.

Nuts also have a very large impact on the condition of the hair, strengthen it, preventing it from breaking and crumbling, and acting anti-inflammatory, help treat infection.

Just eat a small handful of nuts each day to improve the condition of both your hair and nails. Remember, however, that nuts are hard to digest and consumed in excess can cause digestive problems. As always, it is important to be healthy in moderation. If you want to improve the condition of your skin and hair from the outside, also try cosmetics containing nut extracts.

6. Avocados

Avocados are a source of monounsaturated fatty acids, thanks to which it becomes possible to maintain proper hydration of the skin and protect against irritation. Avocados should be a mandatory component of the diet of people whose skin is dry and sensitive.

Thanks to the content of B vitamins, vitamins A, C, E and K, avocados perfectly neutralize the effects of free radicals, make the skin elastic and firm and help fight various types of infections. However, the most beneficial ingredients will be found in the fruit stone, it contains up to 70% of all antioxidants found in avocados. Therefore, instead of throwing it away, ground or grated, you can add it to salads, cocktails and even sprinkle sandwiches on it.

Avocados are also great as an ingredient in homemade masks, significantly improving the condition of the skin. In turn, finely ground stone can be an ideal component of peels. It will help get rid of dead epidermis, improve skin hydration and activate regenerative processes, keeping it soft, flexible and healthy.

Drinking green tea helps to keep the skin looking young, reduces inflammation, maintains elasticity and proper hydration. Green tea also works against swelling and brightens, which effectively reduces the visibility of "bags" under the eyes and discoloration.

Green tea helps get rid of dangerous deposits and toxins, which in turn reduces the risk of purulent skin lesions. The condition of the skin is very well influenced by daily drinking green tea and adding it in the form of infusion to masks or using it directly, e.g. as a natural cosmetic replacing tonic.

9. Tomatoes

Tomatoes contain large amounts of vitamins, including A, B, C and E, we also find copper, iron, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium and manganese. Tomatoes are also the main source of lycopene, a red dye that not only gives them a beautiful color, but is also a very strong antioxidant, protects our body against free radicals and slows down the aging process. However, we absorb it best from processed vegetables, e.g. purees or tomato juices. Vitamins contained in tomatoes improve the condition of our blood vessels, favorably affect the circulatory system, while increasing oxygenation and nutrition of the skin. Thanks to them, it becomes smooth, radiant and perfectly moisturized. Potassium, in turn, helps to remove excess water from the body, making, for example, after a sleepless night less visible "bags" under the eyes. Tomatoes work very well as an addition to home cosmetics. The masks or peels in which they will find themselves perfectly clean and refresh the skin, narrow pores, brighten and even out the color, and thanks to the content of malic and citric acid, they remove dead skin.

Red pepper contains a lot of vitamin C, just eat one to cover the entire daily requirement of our body for this vitamin. Peppers are also a wealth of fiber, B vitamins and valuable minerals: magnesium, calcium, iron and potassium. Thanks to it, our body cleans toxins much easier, blood vessels are more elastic and the skin is nourished and moisturized. In turn, the large amount of beta-carotene contained in the pepper gives it a healthy color. On the other hand, strong antioxidant properties mean that wrinkles and discoloration accompanying the aging process appear on our skin much later. Red pepper is a vegetable that should be an indispensable element of the diet of people struggling with problems associated with vascular skin. Peppers contain a routine that strengthens and seals capillaries, preventing the formation of spider veins visible on the skin.

11. Sweet potatoes

Sweet potatoes, thanks to the high content of, among others, vitamins C, E, B6 and folic acid and minerals such as phosphorus, iron, calcium, potassium, sulfur, magnesium and sodium, but primarily as a wealth of carotenoids, have a very beneficial effect on the condition of our skin. Thanks to them, it not only acquires a beautiful healthy appearance, but is also perfectly nourished. Nutrients contained in sweet potatoes stimulate skin cells to produce collagen, which is why it becomes more elastic and firm. Eating sweet potatoes will also provide our skin with better hydration, and their antioxidant properties will delay aging.

If you want your skin to look young and radiant, it is also worth taking care of it from the inside. Every organism needs the right dose of nutrients for proper functioning, fighting against harmful external factors and starting regenerative processes. That is why it is worth enriching your diet with healthy natural products that will help you supply them as much as possible every day.

How to care for skin after 30

You are over thirty years old, you are beautiful young and full of energy, sometimes you do not even realize that for your body the next new chapter is beginning, which brings a number of changes. If you haven't noticed it yet, listen to yourself and start to watch your body closely.

Magic border

Surely you have already noticed that for some time it has been getting harder and harder to endure sleepless nights, which is manifested not only by the fact that it is difficult for you to get out of bed, but also by changes in your appearance. "Sleepless" skin loses its healthy color and glow, becomes dry and tired, and bruises and "bags" appear under the eyes. After thirty, he also slows down metabolism, which is why we gain weight more easily and our body is more and more difficult to process unhealthy food and stimulants provided to him, which of course translates into our health and the appearance of the skin. Time also affects our muscles, after the thirtieth birthday we are slowly losing muscle mass, while accumulating more and more fat, which, combined with lack of exercise and poor diet, affects not only our appearance, but above all health. The skin also loses its resistance, it is now that the face begins to appear discoloration resulting from its excessive exposure to the sun, slows regeneration processes and reduces collagen production. Around the mouth, around the eyes and on the forehead, the first wrinkles are more and more clearly visible, the skin becomes less elastic and prone to irritation. However, this is not all the thirtieth birthday is the time for another revolution in the hormonal economy.

The level of growth hormone decreases, which unfortunately affects the aging process, bone density decreases, the skin becomes less elastic, our hair and nails grow more slowly. With age, the secretion of melatonin, the hormone responsible for good, healthy sleep, also decreases. Melatonin is also a powerful antioxidant that protects our body against the harmful effects of free radicals. When its level decreases, it becomes more and more difficult for us to fall asleep, the quality of our sleep is also deteriorating, which in turn has a negative effect on the secretion of other hormones, including the already mentioned growth hormone and testosterone. A decrease in testosterone in men reduces their libido, increases the amount of body fat, while reducing muscle mass, and sometimes also causes depression. On the other hand, the estrogen level slowly begins to decrease, which in turn reduces the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid, so the skin begins to lose elasticity and smoothness. After the thirtieth birthday, thyroid disorders are also more often diagnosed, which also leads to a hormonal imbalance and unfortunately has an adverse effect on the skin, causing it to lose its healthy color, become dry, thin, "pasty" and prone to excessive keratosis.

All this sounds terrible, but I assure you none of these things happen immediately, aging is a slow and long-lasting process that we will not avoid, but if we take care of proper skin care as well as a hygienic and healthy lifestyle it will certainly run gently.

So how do you care for your skin so that it doesn't age too quickly, and what can you do to age nicely?

Take care of enough sleep

After thirtieth birthday, sleepless nights unfortunately already have a very negative effect on our body. Too little sleep leads to a hormonal disorder and slows metabolism. After a sleepless night you feel more tired than when you were 20-25 years old and you could have no trouble having fun almost until dawn, and then almost functioning normally. The same happens with your skin, after the thirtieth birthday, it also needs more and more time to be able to regenerate. If you don't give her enough sleep, you'll notice wrinkles and discoloration on your face faster. Your skin will look tired at first glance, and thus it will be easier to succumb to the effects, relentlessly passing time.

Reduce stress

Living in a constant race, more and more stressful situations at work, lack of time for regular meals and the aforementioned lack of sleep are just some of the factors that increase the so-called stress hormone - cortisol, which unfortunately has an adverse effect on our skin, among others. It is not without reason that it is said that 'anger in beauty hurts'. High cortisol concentration is responsible for inhibiting collagen synthesis, so the skin loses its firmness, becomes dry and prone to irritation and wrinkles. Too high level of stress hormone can also effectively regulate the work of sebaceous glands, leading to excessive sebum production and thus contribute to the formation of acne on our face. To make matters worse, healing processes also slow down during chronic stress, which is why fighting skin lesions can be long and difficult. Stress also causes that our body is not able to face free radicals, which also accelerates the aging process of the skin. Every day, it is worth ensuring a moment of relaxation, cutting off everyday problems, stopping work, at least for a moment on the side track and a good rest. Try, if possible, to reduce stressful situations immediately before bedtime, if you calm down, it will be much easier to fall asleep and allow your body to regenerate properly.

Moisturizing alone is not enough

If your thirtieth birthday is behind you, you should know that moisturizing is not enough for your skin. The inclusion of anti-wrinkle cosmetics in daily care is now a must. You should also help your skin fight free radicals that weaken its defensive functions and accelerate the aging process. The cosmetics you choose should therefore contain anti-oxidants. In their composition look for vitamin E, which has the ability to neutralize free radicals, protects the skin against the harmful effects of external factors, reduces the risk of skin irritation and photodamage, improves its blood supply, nourishes, allows it to maintain adequate hydration, makes it elastic and firm.

A very important ingredient is also vitamin C, which strengthens and makes blood vessels more elastic, improves skin elasticity, reduces the visibility of discoloration, and also supports and regenerates vitamin E. A very good solution for skin in their thirties is the use of a vitamin C serum treatment. cosmetics should also contain B vitamins that will reduce skin roughness, reduce excessive sebum production, ensure adequate hydration, improve color, accelerate skin renewal processes, and minimize the effects of UV rays on it; vitamin A, which activates skin regeneration processes and smoothes it, softens it, regulates the sebaceous glands, cares for proper hydration, evens color and anti-wrinkle; necessary unsaturated fatty acids strengthening the intercellular cement and the hydrolipid barrier of the skin, protecting it against excessive moisture loss, support epidermal regeneration processes, soothe irritations, regulate sebaceous glands and help maintain elasticity and firmness; coenzyme Q10, which improves the metabolism of skin cells, neutralizes free radicals, promotes regeneration, reduces wrinkles, firms, tones and protects the skin against impurities and hypoxia; Hyaluronic acid, which by binding water molecules, ensures proper hydration of the skin, supports its renewal, smoothes it, restores its healthy appearance and helps to maintain youth for longer.

Appropriate skin protection is also very important. After thirty, both the sun and other external factors: wind, frost, dust, too dry air and changing temperatures begin to leave more and more visible traces on the skin. Therefore, during the day we should choose cosmetics that will allow it to maintain adequate hydration, help rebuild and strengthen the protective barrier and thanks to the content of appropriate filters protect the skin against harmful UV radiation. On the other hand, cosmetics used at night, when the skin regenerates intensively and absorbs the nutrients contained in them much better than during the day, should help to supplement the deficiencies arising with age. Then it is also good to apply a nutritious serum before applying the cream, which will speed up the regeneration processes and strengthen the cream.

Take care of the skin around the eyes

We should always take care of thin and delicate skin around the eyes, regardless of age, initially moisturizing eye creams work great. The first gentle anti-wrinkle creams may be useful to some people after their twentieth birthday, and after their thirties they are simply a must. They should help the skin maintain adequate hydration, make it more elastic, reduce the already visible first wrinkles and reduce signs of fatigue. They should not lack antioxidants, i.e. vitamins A, E and C and coenzyme Q10; ingredients that improve circulation that will help reduce dark circles and bags under the eyes, e.g. caffeine or herbal extracts (chamomile, cornflower, mountain arnica or firefly); hyaluronic acid, which will keep the skin moisturized and smooth out fine wrinkles; cholesterol and ceramides that will help rebuild the skin's protective barrier, soothing irritations; panthenol and vegetable oils containing vitamins and necessary unsaturated fatty acids. Also remember about gentle, but very careful makeup removal, use cosmetics that will allow you to get rid of colored cosmetics, but will not irritate the delicate skin around the eyes. Also remember not to rub or stretch the skin. After thoroughly cleaning it at night, apply a nourishing eye cream, while doing a gentle fingertip massage that will improve blood and lymph circulation, while reducing the visibility of shadows and "bags" under the eyes. Thanks to it, the skin will also be better oxygenated and easier to absorb valuable nutrients contained in cosmetics.

Get rid of dead epidermis and stimulate the skin to action

Regular peels are a very important element of skin care in your thirties. They will clean the skin of dead epidermis, sebum in the pores of sebum, dust and the remains of colored cosmetics, improve circulation, even out the color, firm it, stimulate skin cells to regenerate and improve the absorption of nutrients contained in creams or masks. However, it is very important to choose the right cosmetic for your skin, if it is oily or normal, you can use a fine-grained peeling or a peel off mask that dries on the skin. For combination or dry skin that is more easily irritated, it is better to opt for delicate enzyme peels that contain enzymes that dissolve dead skin.

Time for a mask

After the procedure to remove dead skin, cleansed skin absorbs nutrients and moisturizers much easier. It is worth using this time and prepare a special mask that will perfectly complement the care.

Prepare a nourishing and smoothing mask from a potato cooked in a peel, when it cools down, peel it off and mix thoroughly with one tablespoon of Greek yogurt and egg yolk. You will also prepare a mask that improves skin firmness from mixed blueberries (1/4 cup), which are a rich source of antioxidants combined with honey (1 tablespoon), which is known for its nutritional and moisturizing properties. A mask made of highly chilled and mixed green cucumber mixed with chicken egg protein and vitamin A + E (content of 1-2 capsules) and a spoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice also works very well. The cosmetic prepared in this way has a brightening and intensively nourishing effect.

A real shot of vitamins

Skin in their thirties needs intensive nutrition from time to time - a real injection of vitamins.

To nail help

Strong, healthy and well-groomed nails are the decoration of our hands, they are even said to be our showcase. However, it is not always easy to maintain beautiful nails, especially when they begin to crumble, split and break. Why is this happening, what is the reason for their weakness, what can be evidenced by changes in their shape and color, and how to make them strong and healthy?

Today, a bit about what our nails "tell" us and how to care for them.

The nails are also aging

It is worth knowing that the nails in this area do not differ from the rest of our body, time also reflects on them. Already after 25 birthdays, their growth rate begins to fall, the nails regenerate more slowly, which can also be the cause of more frequent infections. With age, they also become weaker and fragile like our skin, which gets thin and dry. On their surface, as the changes occur in our body, vertical ridges appear, which in turn can be compared to wrinkles. The passing time is also changing the color of our nails. From slightly shiny and pink, they turn yellowish, grayish, lose gloss and become dull.

Everyday nail life

Very often, we do not realize that every day we expose our nails to damage, the consequences of which do not always have to be seen immediately. All detergents used on a daily basis have a bad effect on their condition, they are guilty of excessive weakening and drying of the nails. Long-lasting soaking in water also has fatal consequences for them. Therefore, if you want to enjoy beautiful nails, you have no choice, you need to convince yourself of protective gloves that will accompany you at home cleaning or washing. Before that, smear nutritious cream, olive oil or coconut oil in your nails, in this way you will treat them to a wonderful care treatment. The nails also do not like wind, frost, frequent temperature changes and too long exposure to the sun, therefore it is necessary to use protective creams and in autumn and winter, when it gets cold wearing warm gloves.

It's all a nail file

Very often, the problem with broken and split nails is associated with an incorrectly selected nail file. The worst are metal, which jerk and damage their plate. Natural nails also don't like coarse paper and cardboard files. If you want your nails to be healthy, not cracked or split, try to choose files that will not damage the structure of their plate. The best are glass, which not only in a gentle way will allow to shape the shape of nails, but also because of the ease in maintaining cleanliness will not become a dangerous habitat for microorganisms. Stone files are also very good, especially for thin split nails.

If you want to avoid damage and splitting of nails, remember to saw them in one direction, except for stone files, which can be filed nails in two directions. Use files not only to shape the nails, but also to shorten them. However, limit the use of scissors and cutters, as they may cause cracking of the nail plate.

Good or bad nail skins?

The nails growing on the nails do not look very nice, but you must know that they do not grow for a reason. Their task is to protect against infections. Cutting them out, therefore, damages the priceless protective barrier, while creating the risk of developing bacterial and fungal infections. Mechanical removal of cuticles can also lead to damage to the nail matrix and, as a consequence, result in, for example, its deformation. Also remember that cut skins grow faster, are thicker and more visible. Therefore, it is much better to move them away using a special spatula. Before that, you need to soften the skins, for example, soaking your hands in warm water with the addition of olive oil, which will additionally moisturize them, or using special softening preparations. The cuticles should be moved gently so as not to damage the nail. After the procedure, it is good to lubricate them with vitamin A + E.

We choose a nail cleaner

Very often used nail polish remover has one important task: it must help get rid of nail polish from nail polish. It would be good, however, not to weaken it. So let's be aware that the wrong choice of cleaner can have very bad effects on your nails. The main culprit is obviously the basic ingredient in many of them - acetone. It is he who dries nails and as a result they become brittle and brittle. Therefore, before buying a cleaner, you need to check its composition and choose one that will not contain acetone above all. A good cleaner should contain vitamins A, E, C and B5 as well as vegetable oils e.g. from grapes, sesame or coconut. You can also add a few drops of oil or olive oil to the remover yourself, then you will certainly avoid drying and irritation of the nails.

"Feed" your nails

Poor dull and brittle nails are very often the result of a poor diet. They lose their healthy appearance when our body lacks zinc, iron, calcium, silicon, copper, B vitamins, vitamins A, E, D, K and C, and protein. So make sure that your plates do not lack dairy products, lean meat, eggs, carrots, broccoli, peppers, tomatoes, beans, cabbage, cauliflower, avocados, currants, blueberries, pomegranates, gooseberries, nuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds, seeds sunflower, whole grains, parsley and fish. On the other hand, limit stimulants, highly processed foods, salt and sugar, and before you reach for supplements supplementing the diet, remember that the best digestible nutrients are those that you supply to your body naturally.

Moisturize and nourish

Nails, like the hands, need moisturizing, so it is very important to massage the cream into the nails and cuticles a few times a day and always after contact with water. For moisturizing and nourishing, also use specially created nutrients. If you want to strengthen and accelerate their reconstruction, use those that contain calcium and keratin, thanks to them you will fill the cavities formed in the nail structure, making them strong and smooth. Weak and brittle nails also need iron, ceramides, silicon as well as vitamins F, B7 and A overdried, while vitamin E and B5 will help, the effect of hardening and sealing the plate will be obtained thanks to silk proteins and diamond dust contained in nutrients.

Bath, mask and oil

Intensive nourishment and moisturizing of the nails is a very important element of their proper care, therefore baths, masks and so-called oiling. However, to get the expected results, baths and masks should be done 2-3 times a week and oiling damaged and weak nails even 3 times a day.

A bath in warm olive oil has a very good effect, probably known to everyone, to enrich it, we can add two capsules of vitamin A + E and a tablespoon of honey to a glass of olive oil. Such a bath will perfectly moisturize and nourish not only nails, but also hands. Soaking the nails in a thick infusion of linseed or in gelatin also works great. A very simple way to strengthen nails is to lubricate castor oil in them, thanks to which the nails will be healthier, stronger and perfectly moisturized, they will not crumble and split. Castor oil can also cope with dry skin. Also try a mask - mix two tablespoons of castor oil with yolks and a teaspoon of lemon juice, this will create a cosmetic that will moisturize, nourish and even color the nail plate. Soaking nails in orange juice, which thanks to the content of folic acid and vitamin C stimulates their growth and strengthens their condition, also has a nice effect. The condition of your nails will also improve if you rub in them vitamin A + E, coconut, almond, linseed, grape, raspberry or rice oil, thanks to which your nails will become shiny, strong and flexible.

Nail polish? Yes, but not necessarily every day

Nail polish can not only dry them, but also change the color of the plate, so it's best to apply nails before applying the conditioner. Remember also that the nail covered with varnish has virtually no access to oxygen, and nutrients contained in e.g. cream do not reach it. Therefore, from time to time you should wash the varnish and allow the nails to breathe for several days, while using regenerative and moisturizing treatments (baths, masks, oiling or treatment with a special nail serum).

Health written on nails

The condition of your nails can also say a lot about your health. All kinds of deformations, furrows, lumps and changes in color may be a symptom of an ongoing disease process in our body.

If the nails get concave so that a drop of water can be held on their surface like a small spoon, it can mean iron deficiency and hypoxia. Spoon nails can also be a symptom of heart problems, thyroid disorders or a sign of autoimmune diseases. In turn, nails that look like convex bubbles can be indicative of lung, heart, digestive and thyroid diseases. Transverse stripes on the nails can speak of an acute infection, they also appear when there is a strong intoxication of the body and during severe infectious diseases. It also happens that they are a symptom of developing diabetes or psoriasis. Most often, however, they appear as a result of mechanical damage. Oblong furrows are found mainly in the elderly and are a sign of the passage of time, but they can, however, signal disorders in the circulatory system, rheumatism, be a symptom of lichen planus or a deficiency of vitamin B. However, defects in the nail plate may be indicative of psoriasis, and white dots may cause calcium deficiency. zinc and iron, signal disturbances in the metabolism or hormonal fluctuations occurring in the body. Yellow or greenish nails may indicate fungal infections, kidney, lung and liver diseases, and yellowing of the plaque can also be caused by smoking. In contrast, a dark spot, which sometimes also covers part of the finger, can be a symptom of nail melanoma. Split ends are the result of poor care or hypothyroidism. Brittle and pale, in turn, a sign of anemia.

Therefore, nail changes can be not only a symptom of poor care and neglect, but also a symptom of often very serious diseases, so if you notice that the appearance of your nails has changed, it is worth going to a dermatologist who will order additional tests and dispel all your doubts.
